This is in downtown Rogers, Arkansas – a backwater to many, but also a town that has benefited greatly from the presence of the Walmart headquarters and other major companies. Still, many areas of town remain poor, and this splash of color was a reminder of the dynamism and hope in urban neighborhoods that other people quickly put down.
